LEAHY CENTER FOR LAKE CHAMPLAIN Two-acre campus on the Burlington waterfront comprises an aquarium and science center, science and research facilities, the Lake Champlain Navy Memorial and more.
ETHAN ALLEN HOMESTEAD Historic homestead of one of Vermont’s founders and folk heroes, the museum features historical dwellings, spectacular scenery and picturesque trails and picnic areas.
FLEMING MUSEUM Vermont’s leading museum of art and anthropology features 20,000 objects from cultures worldwide, permanent collections of world-class art, plus a multitude of ongoing special exhibits. Located on the campus of the University of Vermont, Burlington.

Performing Arts
FLYNN CENTER FOR THE ARTS Performing Arts Center presents world class music, Broadway, theatre, dance and family performances on the Flynn Main Stage. Smaller-scale performances are presented in the more intimate FlynnSpace venue. Student Matinee Series stages youth-oriented programs to Vermont schoolchildren year round.
VERMONT STAGE COMPANY Burlington’s professional theatre company performs 5 major productions per year out of the FlynnSpace venue at the Flynn Performing Arts Center. Wide range of genres from classics to Broadway to new works.
LYRIC THEATRE COMPANY A fixture in the Burlington Arts Community for over 3 decades, this 400 member-strong amateur troupe based in Williston comprises one of the largest community theater groups in the United States.
ST MICHAEL’S PLAYHOUSE Located in the McCarthy Arts Center on the Campus of St Michael’s College, this professional theatre performs for over 15,000 audience members annually to consistently rave reviews. Wide ranging works have been promoting excellence in theatre since 1947.
VERMONT BALLET THEATRE Both a school and dance troupe, this long-running Essex-based institution run by Soviet-born artistic director Alexander Nagiba performs in multiple venues year round, including the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts. Long term plans include the establishment of a state-of-the-art dance center on the St. Michael’s College campus.
COLCHESTER HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE COMPANY Award-winning high school troupe has been dazzling audiences for decades with high quality far-reaching performances.
BURLINGTON DISCOVER JAZZ.COM Each June for a ten-day period, Burlington swings to the sounds of Jazz, with multiple concerts, workshops, lectures throughout the area, plus musical cruises on Lake Champlain.
